In the news: ALIA features CMG in story on Wollongong lighthouse charity lighting activation

The Australian Live Industry Alliance (ALIA) has written an article on CMG’s teaser launch event at the Breakwater Lighthouse for the Stars of Wollongong Dance for Cancer as one of their feature stories on their website.

ALIA, formerly the Australasian Lighting Industry Association, document all things in art, science and light technology, as well as installing lighting for buildings, events and productions. They were excited to learn more about the Lighting fixtures CMG Audio Visual installed on Friday May 20 that lit up the small lighthouse on the Wollongong foreshore and grabbed the attention of everyone in the area.

The pop-up light show featured 26 weather-resistant IP54 LightSky AquaBeam and eight ShowPro Hex36 LED Flood fixtures controlled by a MA Lighting Dot2 Console – with ultra-bright Projection of the Stars of Wollongong, Cancer Council NSW and CMG AV logos provided by a Barco RLM-W8 Projector and Coolux Media System.

The stunning photographs on the ALIA article demonstrate what the IP54 LightSky AquaBeams are truly capable of, with their ultra-bright lightbeams able to be seen from an incredible distance away and turning social media into an absolute frenzy with locals discussing just what was happening down at the foreshore. The light show demonstrated the world-class capabilities of the AquaBeam's with crossovers formed and wide fan-like patterns streaking through the night sky.
