The LightSky AquaBeam is a valuable contingency for inclement-weather and an outstanding addition to any outdoor activation or event – allowing for complete peace of mind and maximum visual impact.
Adding to the LightSky AquaBeam's impressive reputation, the fixture was recently utilised at EuroVision 2016 in Stockholm with an average TV-audience of more than a 180 million viewers. As part of one of the most elaborate lighting sets in the world, a massive 67 Aquabeam fixtures featured and quickly stood out. Ola Melzig, EuroVision Technical Show Director, had this to say when asked about the AquaBeam: “AquaBeam has proven to be very versatile. Thanks to it’s extreme punchy beam in combination with a very nice frost; and it has the lowest failure rate compared to all the different fixture types we have within the production. We are EXTREMELY pleased.”
The lifespan of the LightSky AquaBeam is a fantastic 1200 hours and is able to be dimmed from zero to one-hundred percent. It has an independent shutter as well as fading effects all with an adjustable speed. The colour wheel has six dichroic filters as well as plenty of effects to back it up, such as 2-degree Beam Projection, 45-degree Wash effect, fixed gobo wheel and linear focus adjustment.
